hankycode magazine is a print & digital publication focused on spotlighting the rich cultural history of the LGBTQ+ community while telling the stories of queer artists today. As co-owner of this publication, I developed the brand, website, magazine & social media.

Our name derives from the queer flagging tradition of using hanky code. This name honors our historical roots while also saying we’re here.
To help raise funds for the store a fellow designer and I created a pride merch collection, where I both designed and creatively directed.
In collaboration with an embroidery specialist, I concepted and directed the execution of our podcast cover.
